Our commitment
Alethia is founded by a disabled veteran, and accessibility is personal here — not a compliance checkbox. We want every visitor, including people who rely on assistive technology, to be able to use this site fully. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, consistent with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
What we've built in
Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks; text color contrast meeting WCAG AA; visible keyboard focus on every interactive element; full keyboard operability; alternative text on meaningful images; labelled form fields; responsive layouts that support zoom up to 200%; and animation that is disabled automatically for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
The site is young and under active development. Some photography is temporary placeholder imagery, and documents offered for download (such as our capability statement PDF) are being reviewed for full screen-reader tagging. We are working through these items.
